I love this dress. I got it from a darling little boutique in Florida (where some of the perfect spring to summer dresses can be found). Of course, I can’t find this exact dress anywhere. I have combed the dusty corners of the internet and could only come up with a few dresses from the same brand (and some are not), but they were worth posting. The high-low design of a shirt dress always plays up your legs in a flattering fashion & the hemline is long enough to wear anywhere. So far, I’ve worn this to church and my son’s preschool graduation. These dresses are lightweight (100% cotton), hand wash/line dry (I have a hand wash cycle on my washer, but I’d feel comfortable using a delicate cycle with low/no spin).
My Jack Rogers sandals are old. I’ve had them for several years, but they’re a summer staple. I love the color, but coral fire can be difficult to find. If you like them & they have your size, buy them! They don’t have that color on the Jack Rogers website anymore, either. I ordered these from Amazon (they were cheaper…duh) back in 2013. Raise your hand if you’ve ever received a knock off item in place of the real deal when ordering from Amazon… I did some research and called Jack Rogers USA and they said you can tell they’re authentic because every pair they make has a hand written size (in pen!) on the inside of the leather. In my case, I was looking for a 7M. Anyone could write a number in there, but quite honestly, you can tell immediately if the Jacks you receive are knock-offs because the whip stitching will look terrible. Reviews are always so mixed, so going in knowing what to look for helps!
Thanks for stopping by!
